Hyaluronic acid fillers Restylane and Juvederm can be dissolved quickly with an enzyme hyaluronidase. This enzyme speeds up the natural breakdown of the dermal fillers. However, the use of this enzyme to remove hyaluronic acid is off-license, so your dermatologist will only go ahead with the procedure if it’s in the patient’s best interest.
